And one that MUST stay the same.Until earlier this year, I'd not really considered what I'd want to see in a Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. After all, the 2011 3DS version did a pretty good job at updating the 1998 original, and so I'd operated under the assumption that it wouldn't be a thing again for a long, long time.Alas, it's real. Ocarina of Time will be "reborn" on Switch 2 later this year, with our first brief glimpse at Link suggesting the most realistic depiction of Hyrule and its residents that we've seen so far.Read the full article on nintendolife.com
"We don't even think of the competition".One of the running themes from last week's gaming events was how everyone is trying to avoid October and November release dates, in order to give themselves as much breathing space as possible before GTA 6 arrives. What that's actually resulted in is an absurd September 2026 release schedule, with multiple high-profile titles launching on the same day. Nobody wants to go close to the next Rockstar open worlder for fear of losing attention to what might be the biggest entertainment launch in history.Read the full article on pushsquare.com
Lots of indie games that might be worth considering. You may have noticed in the "Deals" section of the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox console this week that a new "Buy 1, Get 2 Free" sale has begun, featuring hundreds of indie games that you might be interested in picking up.Like most of these BOGOF-style deals, it's not particularly cost effective for a lot of the games - most have received significant individual discounts in the past, so you could save a bit more by waiting for their prices to drop again.Read the full article on purexbox.com
All our faves from not-E3.Between all of the major livestreams last week, there are more great PS5 games than anyone reasonably has time to play.In truth, we probably could have made a list of titles we’re hyped for that’s triple or even quadruple this length, but instead we’re focusing on the 15 that really rustled our jimmies. (Admittedly, it was tough to pick.)Read the full article on pushsquare.com
