It’s official Apple Certified Refurbished Store time again, and we are back again with a closer look at the gear we have our eyes on. This is not a bunch of Macs covered in scratches that fell off a truck somewhere and shilled on eBay at a discount, we are talking about Apple’s “rigorous refurbishment process” and the same 1-year Apple warranty you get on brand new units, just at a lower price. You’re not going to get a better price on AirPods Pro 3 or the all-time low on AirTag 2, but there is hundreds in savings on Macs and the lowest prices around on current-generation models. Check out this week’s best down below.

My biggest issue when I go back and forth between a MagSafe wallet and a traditional wallet is that a lot of MagSafe wallets are really just card slots. I still carry cash and like my driver’s license to be in a clear window. The TUCCH PU Leather Mag Wallet does something different that most MagSafe wallets. It actually folds shut like a traditional fold wallet with a clear ID/driver’s license window.
Alongside the ongoing 25% price drop on AirPods Pro 3 and $120 off AirPods Max 2 from last week, today’s 9to5Toys Lunch is headlined by Amazon dropping the price on AirTag 2 even lower to a new all-time low with the 4-pack now at $80 ($20 each). We also have Apple’s 24GB/1TB M5 MacBook Pro at $320 off and this 2TB M5 Pro at $500 off, just be sure to scope out Anker’s new SmartTrack Find My wallet card at the $25 Amazon all-time low, and LG’s 32-inch 6K Thunderbolt 5 monitor undercutting the Apple Studio Display XDR by a massive $2,200 (all-time low). Head below for a closer look.
CarPlay can make any vehicle feel significantly more comfortable and family. Still, the experience is not always perfect out of the box. Some cars still require a wired connection, others lack CarPlay entirely, and what about keeping your iPhone charged and cooled on long trips? Fortunately, improving those areas doesn’t require a big investment. These affordable accessories cover everything from wireless CarPlay and MagSafe charging to cable management and complete displays for older vehicles.
Last week delivered a collection of particularly notable price drops on current-generation Apple gear, from AirPods Pro 3 at 25% off to the latest AirPods Max 2 at $120 off the list price, but we are not done yet. While those deals are indeed still live, Amazon has just delivered the lowest price ever on Apple’s 2026 AirTag 2 – you can now land them as low as $20 a pop.
iOS 27 focuses heavily on bug fixes and performance improvements across apps like Safari, Mail, Calendar, and more. In the Messages app, iOS 27 fixes what I think are three of the most frustrating bugs … and the update will be released to everyone in just a few weeks.
In recent years, Macs had been getting more and more affordable. Cheaper starting points, more memory and storage per dollar, and the introduction of MacBook Neo. For the first time, Apple had started to become one of the best values on the market. Unfortunately, Apple just drastically increased its prices because of the ongoing memory shortage. Macs aren’t as appealing as they were a few weeks ago, that said, there’s still some decent deals out there – and if you’re in need of a new computer, I’d still say todays Macs are a good value against the rest of the computing market.
Recently, Mophie debuted four new power banks for the iPhone. They slide nicely into your pocket, come in two finishes, offer built-in cables, and pack 5000mAh or 10000mAh of capacity. They’re by no means the smallest battery banks on the market, though they hit a price point that makes them worthwhile.
We’re just a few weeks away from the rumored launch of the foldable iPhone Ultra. As we’ve written before, excitement for the device is mounting. A new report from Bloomberg today outlines what people inside Apple who have used the iPhone Ultra love about it.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing significant changes at its retail stores in preparation for upcoming Home product launches. At the very least, Apple should debut a refreshed HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K this fall, though the changes would suggest a third, more significant product is also on its way.
Earlier this month, Google unveiled its new Pixel 11 lineup. The phones themselves were rather similar compared to the previous Pixel 10 lineup, though they offer a few delightful quality of life improvements. One of those is a new set of camera processing options – allowing you to have far more control over what your photo will look like. On the cusp of the iPhone 18 Pro release, I’m hoping Apple offers something similar to this.

On the Apple TV, gaming is a little bit of an afterthought for developers. Compared to iPhone, iPad, and even Mac – there aren’t a ton of options. Luckily, CloudGear exists as an all-in-one solution for bringing every major cloud gaming platform into one interface. It’s also available for iPhone and iPad.
After over a decade of not adopting touch displays on its Mac notebook lineup, Apple will finally be rolling out its first touchscreen MacBook as soon as October. This’ll come alongside the next MacBook Pro redesign, potentially dubbed MacBook Ultra.
